Mt Field is one of my favourite places to visit. I took my nephew there a few years ago, he was visiting from the Riverland of SA and he was in AWE! My favourite comment from him was, "Aunty Kimmy it is just like Jurassic park!"
That first first photo is breathtaking. If you have not blown it up and hung it on your own wall, you should. They are all gorgeous, but particularly that first one. Lovely work.
I"ve never been to Mt Field, but everyone who goes there seems to come back with the most amazing photos! These are great. I love the water drops on the leaves, and I love how the drops show reflections of other things. The drop on the bottom right is such a strong focal point for the photo. It's brilliant :)
Thank you watershed & sleepydwarf. I don't have the first one on my wall, yet, but I do have the leaf with water droplets on my wall as a canvas print. I love the change in perspective we get in macro photography.
You should make some time to head up to Mt Field, its an amazing place of wonder for a photographer.
